With help from my media teacher and media technician I was able to 

• Key skill for all editors especially music videos
• linked visuals with audio recording
• used makers on waveforms of footage and separately recorded audio to sync together
• mute filmed footage sound

The audience have the impression that the song is about a girl. Singer encounters many struggles of trying to get to the shop to buy cereal, there are constantly obstacles in his way stopping him. Including girlfriend, seeing people eating, day dreaming.

POP ACOUSTIC
Paolo Nutini - Jenny Don't Be Hasty

1. Throughout the majority of the song, Nutini is on stage with a band singing. However, throughout some of the video it has a narrative going on showing the 'Jenny' character.
2. When it shows the band performing, they are moving about to the beat of the music. There is not an actual dance performance.
3. It shows many close up's of Paolo Nutini when he is singing with the band. These close up's are all slightly angled, not always showing his face clearly. Nutini is also acting in the video.
4. The visuals relate about 40% to the video. 
5. The song is about Nutini trying to convince a woman that just because he is 18, she should still marry him. 

PARODY
Blink 182 - All The Small Things

1. Throughout the video, the band are mimicing Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, N'Sync, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. The lyrics and visuals do not relate at all except for when Tom DeLong sings 'carry me home' he creates a cradle with his arms.
2. The three band members are dancing throughout the majority of the music video. However, the dancing isn't particularly in time or beat with the music.
3. The trio are always shown as Tom Delong (singer/guitar) in the middle with Mark Hoppus (bass) and Travis Barker (drummer) either side of him.
4. The visuals do not relate to the video at all.
5. The overall concept of the video is to create a parody of different artists.

Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight

1. Throughout the beginning 3/4 of the video, Olly Murs is in a car or at the police station. In the end, he is outside a females house dancing and singing "I just want you to dance with me tonight".

A theory developed in the 1950's and states that a director's film reflects the director's personal creative vision.
That the auteur brings something unique and personal to each of the videos they make. This shows the directors own creative vision which you can recognize straight away.

Hype Williams is an American music video and film director.
Williams has created a number of music videos for many artists, including 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G, LL Cool J, Nas, Missy Elliott , Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Aaliyah, Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Ne-Yo and many, many more.

A "signature style" involves placing shots in regular widescreen ratio, while a second shot is split and placed in the upper and lower bars. Creating a "banner" look.
 In addition to this, he frequently utilizes aerial and tracking shots which often move backwards or forwards, some techniques. It is a method often used by Hype which allows his videos to be dynamic, multidimensional and atmospheric as opposed to having static camera angles.
